Patrimonio Musical Español, a collection published by Editorial Alpuerto with support from Caja Madrid, features some of the most interesting original scores from 16th- to 18th-century Spanish music.

Many of the works in the collection are from the Archivo Histórico del Monte de Piedad de Madrid.

Here they are available for the first time in critical edition, by most outstanding Spanish musicologists such as Juan José Carreras, Luis Robledo or Alvaro Torrente.

The titles available at our website are: La música del monasterio de las Descalzas Reales, 16th century, edition by Paulino Capdepón Verdú; Oficio de difuntos a tres y cinco coros de Sebastián Durón (1660-1726), edition by Pablo Rodríguez; El manuscrito Mackworth de cantatas españolas, early 18th century, edition by Juan José Carreras; Tonos a lo Divino y a lo Humano en el Madrid Barroco, 16th-17th centuries, edition by Luis Robledo; and Fiesta de Navidad en la Capilla Real de Felipe V by Francisco Courcelle (Corselli) (1702-1778), edition by Alvaro Torrente
